Wine Tours Adelaide – FAQs

Which wine regions do your wine tours cover?

We provide private winery tours to virtually any vineyard in South Australia so you can enjoy the wines you love and flexible itineraries suited to your unique tastes.

Can we choose which wineries to visit?

Absolutely. You can select your favourites or let us recommend a route based on the style of wine and experience you’re after.

How long does a winery tour last?

Most tours run for between 6 – 8 hours, giving you time to enjoy tastings, a relaxed lunch, and sightseeing without feeling rushed.

Do we need to book the wineries in advance?

Most wineries require bookings for tastings, especially on weekends. We’re happy to help with recommendations and scheduling so your day runs smoothly.

Are wine tastings included in the price of a wine tour?

No. Wine tastings are an additional cost. Prices vary by winery (usually $10-25 per person) and are usually booked in advance with the cellar door. However, we are happy to help with the booking process.

What if our plans change mid-way through the wine tour?

No problem at all. Our tours are flexible. If you’d like to stay longer at a winery, skip a stop, or add a detour, just let your chauffeur know. We can adjust the schedule as we go to ensure you have the best experience.

How many people can you take on an Adelaide winery tour?

We offer a luxury Mercedes people mover for couples, families and small groups up to 7 people, or we can arrange a minibus or multiple vehicles for larger parties.

Can you organise lunch stops as part of our wine tour?

Yes. We can recommend and book a restaurant or winery lunch on your behalf, or you’re welcome to make your own arrangements.

Are your Adelaide wine tours private or shared?

All of our wine tours are private; you’ll have your own chauffeur and vehicle, so there’s no sharing with other groups.

How much does a chauffeur-driven winery tour cost

Pricing depends on the number of passengers, vehicle type, and tour length. If you are a couple, you’ll only be charged the price of a standard sedan, despite having all the space of a people mover to ensure you get great value. Either way, we’ll provide a competitive, fixed price quote so you know exactly what you will be paying.

Can we bring our own lunch?

Absolutely. Some vineyards have large open spaces where you can enjoy a picnic-style lunch, or we can arrange a lunch stop at a scenic location.

Can we drink in the car?

For safety and licensing reasons, drinking alcohol inside the vehicle isn’t permitted. But your chauffeur will provide bottled water and can safely store and transport any wine you purchase throughout the day.

Do you provide pick-up and drop-off at our accommodation?

Yes. We’ll collect you from your home, hotel, or Airbnb in Adelaide and return you safely at the end of the day.
